Barbara gave us our first color challenge of the year. Somehow I misused the color for Bermuda Bay - mine was a retired color that was somewhat lighter.
My sentiment reads Be the change you want in the world. by Ghandi. The world has lost a lot of it's kindness and empathy. This sentiment is a good one I think. Another one of my favorites is the Golden Rule.

Kim, this is a perfect inspirational card for New Year's Day! I love the sentiment on the front, and the multi-colored fern fronds lead the eye right to the sentiment. I see you even got in a bit of ribbon for dessert!

Yes, we sure could all use that advice. And I agree with you on the golden rule. I think there is nothing more important for me to teach my boys than that. I love this CAS design--it's so peaceful and serene and goes so well with the sentiment. Fabulous card, Kim. Happy New Year!

Just the perfect sentiment to start the New Year - wish everyone would take notice of it. The pretty stamped ferns are so peaceful - a shaded glade with the sun sparkling off them.
