This is the 2nd version of a card I made for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Sabrina is our hostess and she chose a wonderful theme of "Bridging the Years." This is the first time I have made a gap card and I had so much fun making this that I have made several of them. The top snowflake is made using kromekote paper, sprinkling it with ultramarine blue color burst powder, spritzing it with water, and setting it aside to dry. When dry, I die cut the snowflake from this piece. The snow flake is layered over a silver mirror snowflake and offset. I did this to hide the sentiment that is stamped on the inside of this card. I had to take a couple of months off from stamping in order to deal with some things in life and my creativity took a hike so thank you Sabrina for inspiring me with this week's wonderful challenge! This card also fits the Alphabet Challenge for the letter S for Snowflake. ~Karen.

Well, I've surprised myself by preferring the lavender when purple isn't really my colour at all. But this one is equally beautiful. I think the colour variation from the Brushos looks fab. And I guess maybe the teal and silver is a pretty stunning contrast - almost like jewellery.

It is so lovely to see you back in the gallery Karen and what a way to return. Both of your cards are stunning. I think this is my favourite by a bee's eyelash.

They're both absolutely beautiful, but this one is my favorite! I've only ever made one gap card myself, this makes me want to try some more. Gorgeous colors, perfect layout. What a fabulous card!
