Sydney Harbour Bridge with the Opera House in the foreground and fireworks - the place to be New Year's Eve.
For this card I used a water coloured background from my stash. I stamped the Stamp It Australia image - after digging it out (I knew I had it somewhere!!). Used the Misti to get a nice dark ink on the water colour paper and then clear embossed it. I stamped second image and then coloured the Opera House with some metallic paints and fussy cut it out and layered it up onto the image. Used a computer to print out the Welcome 2019 and framed it all on a dark blue water coloured panel with white card.
I for one will be glad to see the end of 2018 - not the best of years for me so a nice fresh start will be greatly appreciated.
Me? I will be watching it all from the comfort of my lounge with the air conditioning on and an uninterrupted view on my TV.
Hope everyone has a Happy, peaceful and healthy 2019.
Hope you enjoy.

Your New Years eve sounds just like our - perfect!!! Helen your card is magic, you sure captured the Sydney harbour and fireworks. It will be like sending a touch of down-under to a lucky Teapotter.

Fantastic background to go with your bridge and opera house!
Beautiful card!
Funny, we stay in our comfy homes watch the ball drop in New York and go to bed.
Wishing you a better Year in 2019!

How beautiful, Helen. The watercolour background makes for fabulous fireworks...and without the noise, though I quite like the smell. The blue background frames it with a great night sky. I hope 2019 does indeed bring you better things.

OMG! This is absolutely fabulous! A perfect bridge image for the challenge! I'm fascinated thinking about all those people out celebrating the New Year and not having to be bundled up in winter hats and jackets. Happy New Year, my friend!

This is perfect for the bridge challenge. We always get to see Sydney harbor when they show New Year's on the news since you are one of the first to welcome it. Great bg!
