I racked my brain for how to approached the end of the year "Z" is for challenge, then remembered this ancient (1999) SU Zuni Pot. I stamped it onto white cardstock and embossed with black powder. To color, I took a 2" natural bristle paint brush, colored the ends with a rainbow of markers then spritzed with water, and painted over my image then fussy cut. I used a bone folder to shape the pot in a convex curve and attached just the top and bottom edges to the card base.
I inked the grasses with green, yellow & pink markers and stamped 3 times reinking in between and added some lime stickles dots for a bit of shine.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment with Calypso rainbow, fussy cut and adhered with mounting foam

Wow, this is a great Z idea! I love the beautiful technique work you used on your pot. This was a fun challenge and there were so many great ideas created for it.

Linda, every detail of this is wonderful... your beautiful pot and the dimension you added to it, the rainbow grasses with the Liquid Pearls dots. Thanks for describing how you coloured the pot, it looks really wonderful.

Oh what an amazing pot! My aunt use to study the Zuni Indians and would go gaga over this cute image. I once hand drew a basket for her and she loved it. Way to go on the z challenge with this great pot image.
