ABC10P11: My letter P items are the petals of this lovely bloom as well as the beautiful purple of the ink.
Congratulations to Melody on being this week's featured stamper! I enjoyed browsing your gallery and was drawn to this card: class card 3 by lacyquilter at Splitcoaststampers because of the purple and green colors. You see, my favorite color is green and my DH's is purple and I think they look great together! DH didn't like my college roommate's expression of "whatever turns your purple green!"
I kept the green and purple color scheme and layout but changed the flower and some of the technique.
I dry embossed the green circles but out of green paper rather than sponged white cs. I added rhinestones to my flower center and popped the flower up with dimensionals. I don't have any magic mesh, but do have dry wall tape so I used that to sponge Gorgeous Grape through the dry wall tape to create that background. Then, rather than pop up the sentiment on a circle, I stamped this sentiment directly on the card base.
Again, congratulations to Melody! Enjoy your well deserved honor and week!
Thanks for looking!

This is really pretty, Catherine! It's a shame that this flower doesn't have a die because I would use it much more often if it did. you have done a great job fussy cutting it for your pretty purple and green card. Love the color combo! Great case.
