This is also for MISTI Monday. We were to choose a favorite challenge from the past year. I loved making my own plaid from the TLC714 challenge. I used my MISTI to hold my paper in place as I drew lines with copics to make my own plaid. It really helped to have the grid on the MISTI to use as a guide while I drew my lines. And of course I used it to stamp the bird using the matching die from my stamp set. TFL!

Polly, excellent job on your plaid and doodling. Your bird is so cute and colorful. I have to say I don't know how we crafted without the MISTI.

I can't believe that is hand drawn plaid! Wow! The awesome part about using Copics is that it is an exact match to your coloring. I find myself quite often frustrated that my pretty DP doesn't match my Copic coloring. I love this!

Fantastic plaid, Polly. I agree with Angie, doesn't look hand-drawn at all. And your cute bird is adorable, especially with those Liquid Pearl accents.
Oh Sis Polly So perfectly done!! And beautiful..I love making my own plaids as thise close to me know. Especially Sabrina lol she would take my plaids and move it to other galleries and she would tell me she moved it before I panicked and ran to her for help lol tell ya I’m a hot mess!!

You made this!!! Wow Pol your plaid (said in my best American accent) is a jaw dropper. I just scrolled back for another look - wow! Cool tartan my friend and I love the little owl too.

Oh, Polly, you did a remarkable job of creating the plaid background. It is so colorful and a perfect background for the lovely bird image! Great card, Polly!
