MSP16 - This was designed for this Challenge. Loaded my Misti with with Stamps from my collection And a cute collection passed on to me by Sis Chris. I took in these lil cute orphans and then When I was selected Featured Stamper , Sis Julie cased A Card in my week that absolutely touched my heart . So when I saw this months Challenge here I was inspired by her card in my honor and found this was the perfect time to try casing hers...tho I didnt have the stamp she used , I took my Misti and loaded it with what had the same inspiration. Turned out the challenge it fits here is to take stamps that arent a holiday set and make a holiday card . So therefore here is my Seas Greetings for Xmas. This was time consuming. But the Misti cut that time by leaps and bounds. Loaded all those images I colored in pink excluding the starfish topper and masked off my Tree shape and stamped. Stamped a few times to get a richer images and if not for the Misti it would not be perfection as it is when restamping 3 times. Just glad non fell off , then I be having a misfit lol . Then I filled in all the openness with green sand. Yeps you heard me right Green Sand! Hawaii is known for its gorgeous beaches. Well over on the big island there is a hidden away beach with sand of glistening green gems on its shore . Like diamonds but because they are so fine and broken up fine as sand they cant be classified as gems . So they are called green sand .So in honor of Papakolea Beach, I gave my creation green Sand. Had my Fairy Alana top our undersea tree with a magnificent Starfish to bring you all a Mermaids wish and Starfish Kisses for a very Mele Kalikimaka and A Hauoli Makahiki Hou!! From my Ohana to yours !!
Even though this was created for the MSP16 Challenge im also entering it in 4 others
CT1218 - Flea Market Flip
My flea market flip is taking a hand me down Orphan Cute Stamp Set and reusing it not only for its purpose but to flip it and make it into a holiday theme. The pearls where also hand me downs , as the saying goes someones trash is someone elses treasures. I dont call them trash I like to refer to them as lil orphans that come to live in Hawaii lol
Because I didnt have the sentiment and no printer to print one out I messed this u by handwriting my own sentiment. Its ok I may fix that or just keep this beauty for myself. It has glossy accents here and there and wink a Stella all over so the sparkle and shine is not captured in the pix but IRL.

Love your starfish for the star on that wonderful tree you created. I don't know how you did the sea background but it looks awesome, Vicki. This is all very creative!

Excellent for each challenge. I especially like how you repurposed some orphan stamps into a holiday tree with a starfish on top! How creative. Love the marbled background for the under sea look. Pretty mermaid. Very nicely done. TFS

Now this is a Christmas tree that pleases my obsession with all things nautical (in addition to my cat obsession)! I have never seen a nautical tree before and I luv it. Great coloring and wonderful rolling ocean waters. I had never heard of the green sand - must be fabulous - thanks for sharing that info.

Oh Victoria! How creative this is! I love your undersea tree! The swirling background and mermaid setting the star are perfect. I really love your sentiment - it put a smile on my face when I saw the pun. Great card!
