I got the inspiration for my card from this one I saw on Pinterest. I liked the design, with the diagonal punched edge along the one panel.
I stamped the poinsettias onto watercolor paper, and heat embossed with Ranger Gold embossing powder. I used my Mission Gold watercolors to paint them, and then die cut with the coordinating dies. I also cut some holly leaves from bristol. I colored the leaves with Lucky Clover Distress Stain, and the outlines with the Red Gold color from my Gansai Tambi Starry Colors watercolor set. I adhered the outlines to the leaves, and set everything aside.
I cut a panel of kraft cardstock, cut the bottom at an angle, and punched that edge with the "Vintage Floral" border punch. I masked off the punched portion with tape, and stamped the woodgrain with Wet Cement ink onto the rest of the panel, just to add some interest. I adhered that to my white card base. I used liquid glue to adhere my flower die cuts & leaves, applying it just to the centers of the flowers so the petals would pop up a little bit. I stamped the "Noel" from "Mistletoe & Holly" in the lower right corner, and heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder.
