I made this card for DEC18VSNB Holiday Stories. The goal was to design a card that reminded me of a "pre-Christmas tradition." We always went out to a tree farm to cut out Christmas tree down. It was fun to see all the trees and try to decide which one. Inevitably, we picked a tree that looked the right size outside, but once it was inside...huge!
I wanted the image to be the focal point, so I just stamped and colored it with Copic markers. No frills, just a little glitter.
I think this card could also work for CCC18MAY, which was make your own plaid background. My plaid background is the black and red coat I created with my Copics.

I went to a farm for the first time this year - it was magical! And the tree definitely grew between the time we picked it and we put it in the house!!

Oh what a darling card, made perfect by your amazing coloring of the sweet image. Love the way you captured the tradition of bringing home the "huge" tree each year!
Thanks for participating in my VSN 'Twas the Night Before Christmas Challenge!
