I had 3 light bulbs left over from several I'd stamped & die cut for 2 other cards. I didn't want them to go to waste, but I didn't want them to hang around on my desk ad infinitem, either! So I decided to pair them with some greenery from "Be Merry Florals" & make an arrangement to go behind my greeting.
For my greeting, I used a pre-printed topper from the Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine's "Christmas Greetings" die cut sheet, which was free in their issue from (I believe) last December or so. I did trim off the gold outline, since it wasn't perfectly even all around. For the corners, I used a 1/4" hole punch to trim where it was notched, just to make it easier.
I stamped & die cut my greenery, and die cut a circle from brown cardstock. I adhered my patterned paper to my card base, and added a strip of dark green cardstock above it. I cut about 1/2" off my circle, to create a flat edge to go against the green strip. I adhered the circle, and glued all my greenery pieces & light bulbs to the back of my greeting. Finally, I glued the whole greeting piece down to my card. I'm not sure if the brown circle die cut really mattered in the end, since I covered nearly all of it, but that's OK.
