DEC18VSNB: Jeanette's VSN challenge was a Pre-Christmas tradition. This one really had me thinking hard. I guess I haven't really thought of some of these things as traditions! My daughter suggested snowmen because I have a snowman collection that I put out every year, but Christmas sugar cookies are a life long tradition for my family. In fact, now when I roll out my cookie dough, I am using my mom's wooden rolling pin. I found this free digi that combines snowmen and cookies so went with this!
I printed the image on computer paper and then colored it with Prismacolor pencils. I stamped sweet on the banner before coloring it as well. The image is matted with gingerbread dp (not that you can see much of it!).
On the inside it completes the sentiment of sweet by saying "wishes this Christmas."
Thanks for the challenge, Jeanette, I really had to think hard for this one! Thanks for looking!

Catherine, I'm sorry I caused you so much work with my theme... but WOW! You sure came through. Your card is darling and you captured multiple traditions. That's awesome! I think it's great that you are able to carry on the cookie-making tradition and even have a bit of your moms treasures to do it with. I'm sure the snowmen in your collection look on as you bake and smile as only snowmen can. ;)
Thanks for participating in my 'Twas the Night Before Christmas VSN challenge!
