This card was made for the Friday Free For All Challenge, F4A460 Holiday Card Show Off 12/14/18.
The challenge was to show off the cards you have been making for Christmas and other winter holidays.
We have friends who raise and sell Angus bulls, and they have just recently finished calving season. I thought this Baby Angus calf dressed in a fuzzy Santa hat would bring a smile to their faces.
It was a fun, quick card to make because I based the design on a Santa pig card I did for an recent Inspiration Challenge. I wanted to make it in festive Christmas colors and this red cable knit design fit the bill perfectly. The paper is up-cycled from a pack of square cards I bought several years ago at Michaels for $1.
The tricky part on this card was doing the 2 layered circle aperture and having the red & black layers come out even. Still donât know how I did it, I just got lucky!
To finish the card I tucked die cut pine sprigs under the rim of the circle, added the sentiment and tiny Pom poms for snow balls. The Santa hat was a modified Memory Box Holiday hat with Pom Pom fuzz Glued on for the rim and a pompom for the tassel.
It was kind of you to stop by and look at my Angus manger scene. Festive wishes to you this Christmas season!

Love the sweater paper and you did a great job layering the papers. I have done an aperture layer and crossed all my fingers hoping it came out too. You did great!
