This is my card for Nick. I have a cell phone but pretty much just use it for texting. I don't have any special apps. I use Outlook for emails and also use google maps a lot, so that is what I went with.
The scene was created using the shaving cream technique.
I hope Nick is getting better each day!!

ha, before i read your description, i saw the sentiment and thought, 'yes, Outlook!.' Such a clever sausage you are (I heard that said on The Great British Baking Show and I've been using it ever since.) Such a pretty card, love the map.

Your shave cream technique made such a pretty sky and foreground for the grasses. I don't use many apps, either so went with Anita's suggestion of Google maps as well : )

Love your map background, but I'm even more impressed that you managed to make such a great background with the shaving foam technique. I'd be slow to set out to achieve anything other than an abstract look with it! You're great at creating cards with a feeling of peace and calm, Denise.

What a wonderful card and love the sentiment that is mirrored by the image on your lovely card! It is sure to cheer Nick up as his sister will add this to his special wall of homemade cards, which he calls "my little ones!" Thank you Denise!
