Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to use Petal Pink, Highland Heather, and Mint Macaron. The dessert option is Stripes.
I used the Rock and Roll technique, except I didn't actually rock and roll! LOL! I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink (a color that makes my lips freeze, as Karen would say), then used a sponge dauber to touch a bit of Highland Heather onto the flowers. Not as easy as it looks; this is my third attempt! Then the leaves and stems in Mint Macaron. I fulfilled the dessert option with a background of diagonal stripes in Petal Pink. Die cut, punched, sponged, glittered and sequined, and called it good!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Love these flowers Barbara, great technique to use a sponge dauber to include the purple on the pink flower! The striped background adds a perfect design behind the floral oval. Really pretty!

LOL! In Karen's words, (and yours) that pink color makes my lips freeze as well! So you get extra credit for making such a pretty card today I love the results you got on the blossoms; it was worth the repeated trys!
