TLC720 = Assembly Line Stamping - a design that is easy for making multiples
The things that take me the longest when making a card are colouring an image, fussy cutting, and doing various background techniques. I do love doing all that, but I can see the advantages of a card like this when in a hurry to get a bunch done. Normally I don't make multiples but when I need Christmas cards to make the mailing deadline, this is a really fast card.
I set up my MISTI with the winter birds image and stamped it in black on slightly larger pieces of cs than I needed as it's quicker to trim afterwards rather than try to really accurately line up the image. Also, skipping any heat embossing saves time, so I just used an archival ink.
Then cut to size the white background panels and run them through the tree embossing folder. Cut white panels to put inside with sentiments on them (in hindsight, using a white cardbase would have saved that step, but I needed the red to make it Christmas-y.). Cut black cs to border the white embossed panel. Cut, score, and fold red card bases.
Then take all the pieces to the living room, put something on TV, trim the bird images, and tape the layers together. Skip embellishments as they add an extra step.
It's a great flat card for easy mailing. And it's suitable for Christmas, a winter notecard, a winter birthday, etc. depending what sentiment is stamped inside. I made five of them pretty quickly.

Wonderful! yes the coloring, which I do very little, would slow things down. I do like to make large sheets of backgrounds and cut them up. Kind of like the old One Sheet Wonder.
