Another card using Anita's great book card tutorial, which you can find HERE.
I used black for my book cover. For the front I cut an extra layer which I embossed with a Cuttlebug ef (after stamping and embossing the sentiment) to look like leather. I embossed another small strip to make the closure, rounding the end with a circle punch.
Along the spine of the book I stamped and embossed "Peaceful Wishes" in gold. I added a star and some star-embossed gold photo corners to the front.
Inside I used a piece of white card sponged to make a setting for my shepherd with his sheep. I used another stamp from TE for the sentiment, and again added a gold star. This card is for my sweet MIL - one of her favourite Christmas songs.
I used a magnetic snap to hold the book closed - one magnet on the little strip, and one tucked in between the main structure of the book cover and the extra layer I added to the front.

Sabrina, oh my goodness! The word "breathtaking" fails to describe the beauty I see here, but I have no better word in my vocabulary to provide... truly gorgeousness and perfection in every way! Thank you *so* much for sharing! Into my favorites this goes!
