Hi! I am your hostess this week for the Inspiration Challenge. I have chosen a site with a beautiful brick and mortar store which I love to visit when I am in Pigeon Forge, TN. I hope you will stop by the challenge and play along this week!
The color and pattern on this baby ornament made me think of the Rough Around the Edges stamp even though the pattern is not the same at all. Don't you just love how a photo can inspire even when the end result is far from the inspiration? To make my border, I stamped the stripes then turned the paper and stamped again to get a rough checked pattern. I also loved THIS photo.
I hope you will join us this week at the Inspiration Challenge!

This reminds me of Simon...when my daughter was a freshman in college, she told some guy friends that she wanted a duck and they showed up at our door with one. We had Simon for the summer, then we took him to a nature reserve when Liz went back to school. he was one of those ducks that look like a bowling pin. What a hoot he was. Anyway, your card is just delightful and brought back some fun memories.
