I'm on a shaker-card-roll right now and I love it! Here I have a card using the Shaker Maker Combo Set from Whimsy, as well as my Christmas Unicorn. Also, I used a sheet from my Christmas Traditions digital paper! I filled the shaker with crushed glass glitter for a sparkly snowy look. Don't forget if you are making a shaker - you will need to get rid of the static electricity, so a dryer sheet is absolutely essential. I put the glass glitter right onto the dryer sheet and massage it in. I also glued some of the glass glitter to the star and the bell in the image before constructing the rest of the card.
The Shaker Maker sets are great for creating a frame for the shaker portion of the card. That is pretty essential, no matter which way you make it. You keep the elements of the construction hidden under that.
The sentiments are chipboard elements by Make It Crafty from Whimsy Stamps.
I coloured the image, sky and snow using Copic markers, and used a white gel pen and a snow writer for the snow drops coming down in the sky.
Copics used:
Unicorn white:
YR30, B0000, BV20, 23, E40, W1, C0
Snow: B60, 63, B0000, 000, 00, BG70, BV0000, BG0000, YR30, BV20, B93, 95
Reds: R14, 17, 29, 59
Sky: B01, BG11
Gold star, bell and horn: Y00, YR12, 14, 27
Thanks so much for looking!

Oh my, Crissy! This is GORGEOUS! Your coloring always just knocks me over...every time! What a sweet image and beautiful background with the snow. Your shading and ability to add so much "life" to your beautiful images are amazing! I love this die set and how the "stitching" is like a sewing machine with two needles. And what a fun and easy way to make the shaker card with all those darling elements! Beautifully done with the digi DP. Always love digis!! Hugs and love, sweet friend, and thanks for sharing this card with us! xoxo
