Instead of dabbing my cling wrap to my ink pad, I swiped the colors on my cling wrap, misted with water, scrunched, opened up, and placed it over my watercolor paper. I think I got close to the same results.
I die cut my star and stamped a partial stamp. The stamp has four snowmen but I only need two of them and, of course, the fence was wider to accomodate the four snowmen looking over the fence.
The image was colored with Copics and snow splattered on the scene.

this card looks great even before one takes a closer look. to me, that counts for extra points. it makes me smile too, which is always an added point or two.

I was so busy looking at the snowmen that I missed your watermark, and yet I was sure this would be your card ;-). What adorable snowmen - and a cool looking background. Sort of a cross between the clingwrap one using wet media, but hopefully with a much shorter drying time, the big drawback to that one. Fantastic layout with the star.

Wower’s, Brenda...that bg is gorgeous. It has such depth...and you’ve inspired me to give your way a try. The star is also lovely with the two tone and splatters. And those snowpeeps adorable. Makes me think of Tom Sawyer...in winter. Grin.
