This month's new Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge is an easy one and just what "the doctor ordered" for me. Perhaps you also might need more Christmas cards as the time fast approaches. If so, this month's challenge is for you. This card is embarrassingly CAS (yes, that ought to be a category, don't you think? - ha!). However, it sure was good for me to crank out all these cards. I read and watched the great tutorial by Lisa Foster this week about assembly line stamping and did that myself. Thanks, Lisa!
Less than two weeks ago, my DH decided it was time for a total knee replacement surgery. Lots of things factored into the decision, but needless to say, we are hustling as the surgery is in mid-December. God is so gracious in providing us with a wonderful surgeon and hospital, and we are looking forward to the other side of surgery.
I was inspired by this beautiful table runner. Love the simple red on white toile with the scalloped edges.
I used one of Marcella Hawley's beautiful stamp sets that truly shines with all the intricate details of this poinsettia. PTI's Pure Poppy ink worked well to stamp all the fine details of the image, and then I used a beautiful sentiment from WPlus9 Designs. I added the simple scalloped die and mounted it on the card base. While I kept thinking I should add more, I needed to stop and realize that I can only do so much. The clock is ticking! I hope you'll join us this month for a very special challenge that Stacy has given us. Thanks, Stacy! You are amazing!
And thanks, Julie, for a fabulous Inspiration Challenge website! I could get lost in it and be inspired by so many of the wonderful things on Joss & Main!
Thank you ever so much for taking a closer look at my card! Hope you like it, and I hope you have a great weekend. Can you believe it's December already? Sending hugs and love to all! xoxo

What a gorgeous set of cards you have made Cheryl! CAS or not, you always do magnificent work! I love coming to your gallery and seeing all the eye candy available to delight the soul. What I love about these is the stark contrast between red and white and how beautiful is that sentiment design, and poinsettia. Gorgeous, as always my beautiful friend! xx
