Meet Trisha Monthwood and Tammy Whyknot singing the old classic "Crazy"...you saw that coming didn't ya.
There is a mixture of stamps here. The guitar is from a great Angie Girl stamp by Unity Stamp company. Actually the boots are also a Unity stamp, modified big time. The original stamp faces left and it also has a bunch of flowers sticking out the top.
To create a small boot, stamp the image, colour the wrong side for a right facing boot. Trim the boot evenly all around until you have the desired size. Tammy Whyknots boots are the same stamp, but they have been severely trimmed and reshaped around the heal. Details are added with a fine sepia colour micron pen.
The hats are a digi stamp by Mo's digi pencil, just cut off the cowgirls head and body and keep the hat - or crop the image before printing. Trisha is a Crazy bird stamp and Tammy is a Scribbly bird stamp.
The dylusions ink/distress ink background (left over from the last few cards I've made), was randomly stamped with a Stamp It Australia script stamp. This is a good background stamp as the writing is so small you can't read it and it still looks ok stamped sideways or even upside down.
Stenciling with el cheapo Aldi model paste completes the background. I love the paste, it allows for a hint of colour to show through. To make it a solid white, it's easy to add white paint. It also colours up well with a few drops of reinkers or coloured paint.
Thanks for looking and I hope you have a happy, inky weekend.

Unbelievable in imagination and artwork! I'm intrigued with the detail and creativity in creating those boots. The accessories on the birds are fabulous and you even created argyle socks! This really rocks, Susie. What's more is you seem to have so much fun doing it. And you are the queen of backgrounds too!

Well, Susie, I am going to assume that the cowbird on the left is Trisha Monthwood and the one on the right is Tammy Whyknot; I guess that is implied. That being said, I am in love with Tammy Whyknot's spiked heels on her cowbird boots! I hope she is able to walk without stumbling and breaking that cute little neck of hers. I think they must be humming the "Crazy" song as I don't see either of their mouths moving (now that would be quite creative; maybe next time??). Now I am so envious of Trisha as she can play the guitar! Oh, I am so envious; I tried as a child with no success! Hey, I have an idea for her! If she should lose her guitar pick, I suggest she break one of Tammy's spiked heels and use it. It seems thin enough! Susie, I would love to see the crocheted piece that you are butchering to create the awesome skirts of late! I bet it looks just as funny as the cowbirds wearing the skirts. Ok, I'll be serious! As usual, this is a spectacular piece of artwork, my friend! I love this card and the awesome background you created! Oh, if only I could be so creative!! Hugs!!!

Fabulous artwork! Amazing combination of stamps and embellishments and what a background! Terrific guitar. Love the boots. Only one pair is meant for walking. Fun, fun! TFS
