This is Jessie Whoshaw, the newly crowned Miss Whykickamoocow. When sheâs not entering beauty contests she works at Woodsieâs General Store. Sheâs so good at her job she sells knitting needles to sheep. Her ulterior motive is that the sheep will knit sweaters using the wool off their own backs and sheâll sell them in the store. You should see the holiday sweaters they knit at Christmas. But I digress. Unfortunately the banner maker for the âBe The Best You Can Beâ festival had a bit too much of the old Whykickamoocow juice (you know what Iâm talking about) and he underestimated the number of letters needed for the banner. Hence, the extra syllables hanging off the top and end of the winnerâs sash. Oops! And if that wasnât enough excitement, this year the moo cows got in the way of old Harv who was in charge of shooting off the fireworks. Thatâs how Bessie ended up in the tree. Next year Harv will be on cotton candy dutyâ¦.itâs a sticky business but at least there are no cows involvedâ¦or are there? Enjoy the festival and many congratulations to Jessieâ¦who will go on to the regional pageant in WhyNOTkickamoocow.

You could write a chapter in the chronicles of Whykickamoocow yourself, Polly! Great write-up, great card. I love your golden fireworks and Jessie's crown. I'm trying to think who it is her hairstyle reminds me of...NOT Princess Leia...

Another good story teller! Love your beautiful Jessie Whoshaw. I think that rebel, Trixie really should have remained the queen. She won the bikini contest.
Great card!!

Ha, ha! Fantastic story and wonderful winner! Her crown is truly fit for a Queen! I think Jessie needs to talk with Bea in the next card down. Bea definitely needs a hair cut. Love your fantastic banner and background!
