I always like to enter the Inspiration Challenge and the Featured Stamper, but my main goal on this card was to use a yellow color called Xanthic to finish off the old Alphabet Challenge, Round 9. I did it...I'm ecstatic, and in doing so, I've also been able to finished a total of eight challenges! Here they are:
#1. FS615 - Featured Stamper, "She's a Super Stamp Girl"...Crystal Komara akja cykomara. I used Crystal's card here: Monochromatic Mint as my layout idea, using a die and center element as the focal point.
#3. MMTPT538 - Teapot Tuesday Challenge, "It's All About Plants" - 11/13/18...show your favorite plants and add yellow for dessert.
#4. F4A454 - Free for All Challenge, "Love Your Stamps"...use an uninked stamp more than one month old. I used two "old" unused stamp sets purchased March 2018: sentiment + frame flowers.
#5. TLC713 - Technique Lover's Challenge, "Simple Self-Framing" - 10/22/18...stamp to make a patterned frame. I made a double frame...yellow and green stamped with a flower pattern.
#6. DD9ABC24X, Alphabet Challenge, Round 9-- Color Letter X - 8/1/18. My color is Xanthic a shade of yellow.
#7. WT664 - Ways to Use It Challenge, "Try an SCS Tutorial" - 11/30/17. Option...something new would be preferable. I used the Silk Clay Tutorial idea, but I used a mold and clay that I bought over five years ago and just never got around to using it. I though it would make lovely clay roses for my card!
#8. USEIT2018 - Use old items gathering dust from lack of use and/or new stuff bought that is getting old and never used.
#9. Silk Clay Tutorial - 1/18/12. I used clay and a flower mold purchased back in 2013 from Stampin' Up, which retired long ago. Using this video, I decided to give it a try. I also decided color my dried clay roses with a Copic marker instead of stamp ink as shown in the video. I was pleased with the results.

Your roses came out fabulously. I spent a long time looking at molds and then decided that I was not likely to use bulky embellishments, LOL. They look gorgeous here on the deep navy, and the butterfly is sweet.

sweet card as so much to see in all the layers, layout, colors used, and die cuts, then we find the delicate rose and butterfly in the center---making a great card for so many challenges.
