My 'in the twitter moment & snap chat' young woman just makes me giggle! How I can relate to her as I recall being of a similar age and worrying about how my butt looked. I think I would know that a circle skirt with a crinoline would make that true! However these days, it seems to be an attribute!!! I won't link the original song nor even the artist performing it, but if you are curious it's on 'u'tube as Baby Got Back:" Sir Mix-A-Lot with the Seattle Symphony. The one thing I noticed was there were women of all sized butts participating. So in fact that is a good thing! We are all not blessed with ample backsides. Mine is flat!
I paper pieced the majority of this card. Used mirror paper in the mirror though my camera picked it up as white. My crinoline is a produce sleeve that I cut and colored with FW acrylic ink. Her stray earrings and the plaque were made by using a sequin mix. I just luv her groovy star earrings.
Okay...I think I'll take a trip this afternoon to my fav vintage clothing store, the '70's are coming back and Saturday Night Fever is calling me...I'll be sure to look in the mirror...
Thanks for stopping by, I'd love if you would share a fashion story here. Have you ever worried about that back side?

Oh my, I don't even know what to say after reading your post. Ha This gal is dressed to the nines and covering most of what she has so I don't know the answer to your question. Her cat is very cool, also. Have fun at the vintage shop.

OMG..hilarious! First off that inspiration dress you chose sort of blinded my eyes..lol...Fab paper piecing and that crinoline trim...wowza that is eye catching! I can tell you had fun with this one... As for my posterior, I am also of the FBC (flat butt club) and I'm not necessarily a tiny person overall......hehe Did I just share that...

I love it-fun piecing and glam accessories! I used to have to worry about a flat butt until I gave birth to six children and never got back to that pre-baby weight.

Oh my ... I cannot stop laughing!!! This is just a hoot!! You are so creative. This is outstanding! I would never be able to ask that question as I too am in the FBC, as Polly says.
