I am so excited that Stacy went with the site that I sent to her and thrilled to guest design for the challenge. Here is the beautiful inspiration dress that I chose. I loved the gorgeous blues and I set out to create a soft image piece with a fabric feel by using the direct to paper technique to mimic the striped look. I started with the lighter blues then added the darker. I ended by swiping the craft inks over the top which blurred the lines/distinctions quite a bit. I rounded the corners and layered over a vertical strip of Indigo also with rounded corners. I used 3 colors of twine along with threads from pulling apart denim (can't remember when or why I did that but I kept the threads in my stash). I stamped my sentiment and punched with an oval punch then layered that over a scalloped oval in Navy.

Gail, I love how you created that beautiful top layer and the twine looks so pretty with it.
