I made this journal with gingham fabric you just cut card board and lay it on the fabric leaving a bit space between the 3 pieces of card board, 1 for the front 1 for the back and 1 for the edge, then you cut the fabric and adhere the fabric on the card board, I used metallic corner protections to embellish and brads (key and lock) wooden hearts and stickers to create the word Journal.
The inside I glued design paper and used the same way as in the tutorial to make the pouch, I filled them with several pages to write all the little secrets!!

I love all the little elements on your journal cover! That is a great idea to use fabric and the metal corners make it look so polished. This will be a super fun gift for someone or be so inspiring to write in if for yourself!

Wow, this is wonderful! Just putting it together to open and close properly amazed me. Your cover elements are terrific. What a lovely gift this would make. Love the use of fabric, something we all collected way too much of.
