I don't recall ever making a spring card in fall. I tried the Distress Stain technique from yesterday. I only had a few colors and, truly, I made the technique my own. My plan: no plan, just stamp it, paint it as messy as possible, make it funky. I used Distress paint for the yellow background for the teapot challenge. Wendy has a greenhouse, loves yellow, so you have to do flowers or plants. I'll probably stamp 'Thinking of You' inside. This stamp is large, has all sorts of detail but is basically an outline stamp (first time use). I don't have many of those. I love the teapots and those cookies. So gorgeous.

Beautiful! I do love those little textured blue circles, and the soft candy colours in your tulips and background. The added dimension with the stems and leaves is great too. So many little details to look at and enjoy.

Amazing flowers and very springy too. The colors work perfect for this card. Extra cookies for you with this beauty. Thank you so much for playing along.

I love this Jean. I had a massive fail with this technique and this very stamp. You have inspired me to try again. I love your Plan B..messy and funky - well it looks brilliant.

Beautiful, beautiful soft pastel palette! Love your blooms and your liquid pearl periwinkle bg application. Great fussy-cut dimension added with your leaves and stems. BEAUTIFUL!
