Are these two sisters? BFF obviously! I used Dried Marigold Distress Stain and only stamped 3 times, coloring each in with a watercolor brush. It looked so vintagy and kind of Hawaiian to me so I found these little Kewpie-esque faces. After using a pencil eraser for their cheeks, I popped them up a bit off the page. The sentiments were placed using a MISTI. Really was surprised at how well the DO ink printed on this hot pressed paper. I think this could be a non traditional holiday card as the faces are like bauble ornaments.

That leaf stamps looks great with your distress stain stamping and colouring. I've still to find time, somehow somewhere, to try this. I like the contrast of the fun round faces.
