I added alcohol ink to the Dura-Lar and was pleasantly surprised at how well the ink moves on this polyester film. I added a lot of alcohol as I worked it. It surprised me that I had a background I could use. I simply inlaid the Memory box branch and the Memory box star. Beaded the old SU silver twine and added nail heads to the tree.

A gorgeous background, Nancy! The blue nail heads add a perfect contrast and the silver tree and star are so elegant! It's amazing that you can thread that twine through a bead! I need to get some beads with bigger holes!

Lovely alcohol ink bg, Nancy. It looks like snow and a winter's sky. The colors blend beautifully. The silver branch and star are perfect for your pretty tag.

Another stunning background! LOVE the soft colours of your gorgeous sky, Nancy. I have not heard of Dura-Lar ... something for me to check out!
Amazing design with the gorgeous inlaid silver tree and star. The blue decorations on the tree really pop on that soft coloured background. So beautiful! Thanks again for playing along, sweet friend! xx

This turned out breathtakingly beautiful! Reminds me so much of the most lovely marble. Thanks so much for sharing, and thank you for the tip on using embossing powder for snow fall "splatter" - I may have to give that a go!
