This is for the Teapotters Challenge â Paper Hugs for Dina. Suggestion â use one of her tutorials on our card. Dina is our SCS Artist in Residence. She is an amazing card-maker and artist. We are reaching out with paper hugs for the recent passing of her father. I used her Watercoloring on Yupo tutorial and had a blast playing with the watercolors on the Yupo paper for the first time. The medium does not absorb into the paper, so it moves around, can be rehydrated and moved again, and even wiped off. After it dries, you can stamp a line image on it and even bring in more color. There were several attempts and I only threw one away. The others I will continue to experiment with. For my card, I stamped the image first on the Yupo paper and then watercolored it, which is definitely different technique than using watercolor paper. The panel was matted, lifted up on fun foam and adhered to a card base. The sentiment was stamped on the base. The smooth feel of the Yupo paper is so different & fabulous. I will send this paper hug to Dina. TFL

Wow - for only a second attempt this is pretty amazing and inspires me to try again. Lovely choice of stamp for a sympathy card, presented with elegance.
