I am SUCH a chicken with watercolor, so I decided that while I was out hunting with the hubby (read sitting in warm truck) I would attempt this thing called watercoloring. I created my "block of color" by applying water to the paper (heavily) then dipping in the paint and letting it do its runny thing. I created an ambre-esque effect and found it quite YAY! I used the defroster to dry my panel in between colors. I stamped Gathering with friends from Impression Obsession on the piece after cutting it down added some flat gray gems and some silver washi tape. Overall I really like this card! WOOT!

Definitely WOOT!! I am in your corner with watercoloring, it kind of scares me! But your hilarious process and fabulous results are very encouraging. I just might try this even without the defroster! Your greeting is wonderful for Thanksgiving!

I am visualizing you sitting in the truck creating this with a big smile on my face : ) Especially using the defrost to dry your water coloring! This took dedication to make art in those surroundings, my friend! And your results are very creative. I love the beautiful sentiment.
