Stamped image on white cs, stamped sentiment below image. Colored the hydrangea with 2 colors of purple and 2 colors of green Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. Using a tiny brush, blended the pencil with water. Added purple narrow organdy ribbon (see above- I need to use some of the ribbon stashed in a drawer!), and tied a bow. Layered card front onto 2 layers of purple cs, and onto card base. Added small purple gems at the corners, and added butterfly gem (to cover a splotch I couldn't erase!). After it was "done" I realized I hadn't colored the flower centers, and went back in with an orange glitter pen and filled those empty white circles in!
This card is for a friend battling a brain tumor who is the most balanced, bravest, most wholesome individual I have ever known. You rock, Sherry!!!

Yeah, well we need to use up our ribbon! Ha, I have way too much, but i digress. I am sure your friend will love this. I have always loved that sentiment-more like an essay, lol........Beautifully colored and nice touch on the centers of the flowers.
