It's time for a new Color Challenge and this week I am hosting. I've chosen the colors Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Mossy Meadow and Silver, with a dessert option to use heat embossing.
I'm also joining the Anything Goes Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge here
I love this color mix for Christmas and winter cards. I used ornaments and a green background but another idea I didn't have time to make would be a snowy scene with lovely trees and silver as an accent on the snow.
For this card, I stamped the ornaments on a white card stock panel using a Misti where I left the stamps while I colored the images with Copic markers. When done I reinserted the panel in the Misti, stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with silver embossing powder then die cut.
Next I created a watercolor background using Mossy Meadow ink, splattered with the same ink plus Copic Opaque white, then sprayed with a shimmer spray. After popping up the ornaments and sentiment, the panel was added to a Pool Party panel then the white card base.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join the Color Challenge this week!
