Squeaking this one in for the October Altenew Challenge. This one has had me stumped a bit. I've been wanting to use this new to me set, but it does seem a little overwhelming to me. Last night I spent quite a bit of time trying to get this orange one to layer right. I was excited I had enough colors to make it. I used Peekaboo peach stamped off and full strength for the two lighter layers. I did the same thing with the yellow one. I've developed a little trick when I ink my pads now. I leave half of it on the drier side and then re-ink the other half. That way I have two tones. This seems to work better for me than stamping off with the new inks/pads. So, that's what I did with my Saffron layers, one dry, one full strength. My leaves were stamped off as well. Before I die cut them I stamped over the leaves with Gorgeous Grunge and lightly sponged with Sahara ink. Did that as well on my BG piece. Was excited I persevered with this one, cuz I loved this color combo in the end. Also happy to use my copper thread this season.
I used the sketch and theme from Fusion Card challenge, too. http://altenewblog.com/2018/10/02/oc...ion-challenge/ https://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot...all-porch.html
