I admire quilters immensely and truly. I do! Quilters know how to stay within the lines, they know their boundaries. They can make a perfect square. They've got mathmatical gray matter. Not me, not surprised, right? But one thing I know is to recognize a great pattern and combination of colors.
Brenda selected a great site this week in StudioE fabrics. I couldn't resist this print. I love the combination of purples and turquoise. And so I give you back my personal caffeine induced moment of brilliance...and I am so caffeinated, I can hardly twitter!
My beautiful woman of a certain age has a paper pieced Basic Grey robe. Fuzzy bunny slippers fuzzed with Bo Bunny 'fuzzy stuff'. I epoxied her happy face kaffe mug. The coffee artistic splatters are a delightful serendipity...not in any way artistically created. I slogged the alcohol inks onto the paper, quite like I do every time I use our espresso machine.
Do you think they have a breath analyzer for being over the influence of espresso? Busted!!!
Hope it's been a wonderful Saturday wherever you be. Please stop by for a cuppa of java when you are close.

Not a coffee drinker but if I don't have my morning pop I'd be pretty grouchy ...;) I love the paper pieced robe...that's my fav part of this. What an wonderfully inspired card Susan. And if we ever meet up in Vegas, a trip to VLVS would be the second best thing ever (Best would be meeting YOU)...)

Ha.....had to laugh at what Stacy commented. This poor woman needs to be put somewhere before she hurts herself....talk about caffeine overload. I enjoyed reading your fun post and seeing your "induced woman" in her paper pieced housecoat and fuzzy house shoes.

How fun is this, Susan! I love her paper pieced robe & the splatter bg. If I drank espresso, I don't think I'd be able to type anything, lol. 1 cup of regular coffee & I'm wired for sound. Any more & I'll be running across the ceiling. I'm weird, I know. Nyquil keeps me up all night.

What a fun write-up for this hilarious image. And the coffee splatters look terrific. Thanks for sharing this fun card and for putting a grin on my face : )

I say bring on the caffeine if it inspires this greatness! I love it. SO fun! I think my favorite part is the paper pieced robe, but maybe the "coffee" splatter...

Careful what you ask for, Susan, as I DO live close and would totally take you up on your java offer. If you came here, I would look just like this gal and not have to get dressed to go 'cross town. Either way, I have my own cold brew AND a Gelli Plate. Not as experienced as our dear Jen, but fun would be had. How come I never use my stapler???
