Hi People! When I coloured "Christmas Mermaid", hubby Mike immediately claimed it for his Christmas card this year. Heh-heh!
She's a digital image and I coloured her with a combination of Copics (first) and then Prismacolour Pencils overtop. The water background is just Copics (a teeny tiny bit of white gel pen for some of the bubble highlights) and this is what I used:
B0000, 000, 00, 60, 32, 05
BG11, 13, 01, 23, 32
I also used a ruler to make sure I kept the streaks straight!
The background paper I used is from my set of digitals at Whimsy called Snowdrops. I like how it looked "scaley" which really went well with the fishy/mermaid theme of this Christmas card.
I made the sentiment on my computer. Thanks so much for looking today!

WOW, WOW, WOW! What a marvelous piece of artwork, Crissy! Oh, your coloring of the beautiful mermaid is awesome! I understand your hubby wanting the card for Christmas; she resembles you in the face and her hair! LOL Great work!
