Janelle's the hostess for the 300th MIX challenge, Royal Garden. My Royal Garden has peach Gerbera Daisies backed by rich turquoise and copper.
I die cut the flowers from a shaving cream background in my stash. Rubbed flowers with copper metallic wax to highlight the details and added copper liquid pearl for the centers. Sponged Stream and Gold alcohol inks on glossy paper and stamped a three stamp marble set in copper. Sprayed copper shimmer mist on Kraft card base. Dabbed copper metallic wax on bg panel and card base and rubbed on edges. Die cut lattice and birthday sentiment.

Amazing and beautiful background, Carla - I could look at it for a long time. It makes me think of old copper sculptures. And the gerberas look super on it.

The copper and blue color choices hooked me from the start. The flowers are lovely with the liquid pearl centers, but I could spend an hour just looking at the blue background with the copper veins through it!

With all the shimmery, metallic rubbings, waxes, and liquid pearls, this has got to be even better in RIL! Love your deep, rich shaving cream bg...with its overlay of open-weave die-cutting. Wonderful blooms with beautiful shimmery centers!
