Finally! Here's the page that I did for the Harvest/Feast Days theme. I don't like it. At all. It didn't turn out at all like how my brain saw it. I used a white wax crayon to write "Day of Atonement" across the page, then used pencil colors to add in the splotches of colors. I used a rag to rub off the page, both to blend the colors and to reveal the wax letters. They didn't come out very well so I tried to enhance them with wink of Stella. Nothing worked so I quit. but there's Good News: the New Testament answers came out okay! (Maybe there's a bigger message here...)

Lois, this came out very cool. A technique I have not tried but now I want to. I like that you focused on atonement. So many messages here and even in the process you went through there is a message. You didn't like what you saw so you added something to it and were still not happy - maybe a message that only things that God adds can really make something truly beautiful. That things we don't think are beautiful - God may think are really beautiful. Like we don't think we are beautiful but He made us how He wanted us to look and in His eyes we are really beautiful. Maybe He looks at this page and says something like - look My beautiful creation is in her Bible worshiping me and learning and sharing My message. Ok I am rambling and will stop but that is what I see. Lovely page and very inspiring. Hugz
