For the color challenge. I used distress oxides for a close match to SU's. Sponged on oxides and stamped flower in onyx black. First time using these antique frames. Lots of possiblities for these dies. Also sponged tattered rose on the frame as the white was too stark and this softened it which I liked better. I popped up the sentiment with mini dimensionals and added the candy dot for dessert. (no pun intended, lol)

Ooh, love those frames, Shirl, and don't think I've ever seen them. Awesome colors on your card and such a pretty flower with the script.

What a truly gorgeous card this is for the color challenge Shirl. I love this beautiful flower image with these stunning colors behind it. Your sponging is absolutely flawless my friend - and breathtaking too! These antique frames are gorgeous- they are new to me too! What a beautiful birthday card to make and send to someone! ~Karen.

beautiful, soft, and subtle. really a treat and serene to look at. I have never seen framelits this shape, super fun choice and bold enough to hold up to the style of card... doesn't get lost even with bold focal point. Really sweet. Thanks for sharing and have a great evening. Teresa
