Cathy's WTUI challenge is to Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I tried Sabrina's simple self-framing technique from Monday's TLC challenge.
I stamped and embossed lace in pink on black paper, then die cut the frame. Scored lines around the edge of the pink mat and layered the panels, popping up the frame. Stamped, heat embossed and fussy cut the corset. Added detail to the corset with Nuvo Black drops, gel pen and a tiny bow. Popped up with dimensional tape. Added stamped, die cut sentiment panel to complete.
The inside says, "Friends are like a good bra, they give support where you need it most." TFL

GREAT card, Carla! Love the corset with its soft pink and black colors...pretty sexy! A delightful back with the pink on black stamping! Embellies are perfect with little bow and black jewels. Best of all...the snarky inside verse....LOVE IT!!

What a fabulous sample for this challenge, Carla! Love the pink and black, the popped up die cut frame, and of course the Lacey corset with the "supportive" sentiment inside!

Oh la la, this is really lovely Carla! I love the pink lace stamped on black- that is so soft and feminine and very striking too. This sets a perfect stage for your lovely popped-up image panel! You chose really heartfelt sentiments for your card that I know the recipient will truly treasure. ~Karen.
