This is for Maryâs Color Challenge with dessert of Fall or Thanksgiving. I stamped my image on watercolor paper. I scribbled my Tranquil Tide marker on an acrylic sheet, added water and did a watercolor wash around the flowers concentrating on the stems & leaves. When dry, I went back with more concentrated color on the leaves. For the flowers, I did watercoloring with ink in the lid â Cajun on the flowers and Curry in the centers. I must admit, I didnât like or hardly used Cajun Craze, but now I love the color! Die-cut the image, layered it, used foam to lift, wrapped with fiber trim in the Cajun & Curry. Put all on a brick embossed panel. My Cajun ink pad is too moist (hardly used it) to swipe across the embossing, so I used a VersaMark pad. I am out of Crushed Curry cardstock, so I sponged a little of the color on the card base edges. Final touch - added Wink of Stella to the flower centers. It was fun to experiment with a color that I havenât explored using too often. The challenges often provide that nudge to do something new or different! Thanks Mary. Thanks for looking.

Yes, thanks for the details, as always. Love that stamped image! I have to agree about the cajun craze as I rarely use it either, but it sure works for fall. Although when I went to use mine, it is kind of dry and crystallized, but I did manage to re-ink it. Your twine is just the right colors for this challenge! I like the brick e.f. too. Great take on the color challenge, Diane.
