 | | Been meaning to make a card with this verse for some time for a friend, finally got time yesterday with a day off.
I started with a sponged background using DOX inks. Misted a stencil with water and laid it over, so that in real life there is a fain watercolour imprint background before I added the rest. Stencilled the sun rays (MFT stencil) with mustard seed and wild honey. Added the sentiment. Stamped the dots from Dragonfly Dreams - I believe it was Zindorf I saw using them as flowers and it's stuck with me ever since. I added Stickles centres to make them look like poppies, and stamped in some foliage in the foreground. Added a die-cut bird popped up on foam, and some little splashes of SN clear glitter pen in the sky. Layered it onto black and added it to a white base. |
