I turned this week's lovely sketch on its side for my beach scene. I sponged distress inks over different areas of the image moving the masks around as necessary. The outer frame is also sponged with DI as if the scene had been extended under the pale blue embossed panel. The little sail was whitened with the gel pen. It was also used to highlight the boat's wake.

Cute card, Ann. Love how you colored the image, especially the sand area. The white gel pen on the water looks great. Terrific use of the embossing folder in the blue. Very nicely done. TFS

Oh Ann - you were thinking of me when you made this card. Today - I wish I could be in that picture - under the coconut palms in the shade - yes it is OK to sit there - no nuts on the tree. I can hear the noise of the ocean from here. Beautiful tropical scene.

Beautiful and tranquil tropical scene. Your placement of the image at the bottom wider spread of the embossed rays is highly effective and your sponging and coloring is superb.
