This is my sample for CC709. I am your hostess this week and I chose crushed curry, Cajun craze and tranquil tide for my color trio. Dessert Option this week is Fall or Thanksgiving.
For my card I used the Stampin-Up painted harvest stamp set. It's one of their 2 step stamping sets. I love the beautiful sunflower images in this set. I am in need of Thanksgiving cards, so this worked out good for me.
I stamped the flowers first in crushed curry and then in Cajun craze. The centers are done in choc chip.
The sentiment is from the same set. I stamped on the image panel, but it wasn't straight and I even used my MISTI for placement. So, I had to improvise because I wasn't starting over again.
I have 5 of these cards made (lol). There was just something I didn't like about each one. I was just having one of those stamping days.
I cut an oval stamped the sentiment and a bit of a sunflower and layered it with Cajun craze cardstock.
That's my card. I hope you can play along with us this week. If you need more inspiration. Check out the other DT samples. They are sure to wow you.

The 2 step sunflo wears are perfect for this week's colos...they just pop right off the card. The pretty floral bg with the oval sentiment looks terrific.

I love happy mistakes! The oval with the sentiment and just part of a sunflower peeking out are perfect against the array of beautiful sunflowers! I love the way you combined the Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks on the flowers. Beautiful card!
