I think this mix challenge is amazing and Lydia is a genius. Her videos are wonderful, concise, funny, easy to follow. Wonder of wonders, I had the Splash inks she used! Why do I have them? Because I went to a demo a few years ago at an amazing art store that has sadly closed.
I'm not sure what other medium would work for this challenge (if you use Lydia's technique), I think they would have to be translucent and rather thin, which is why the Splash work so well. Very pigmented also. I uploaded a second photo of the card, trying to show the silver inked snowflakes, which didn't show up well. I tried to bring them out with the glitter pen but...are there metallics that you can put on stamps that would show up better? I suppose a paint of some kind. Also, I used the final print that she creates for today's WT challenge, since I used a stencil. I'll add a sentiment to this card later.

That looks fabulous. I like the soft silver look; the only way I can imagine to get more would be to use silver embossing powder, but that would change the look totally. The debossed snowflake looks super.

I've left you some fav luv in the thread this week! I confess to creation envy...I 'tried' this and got mud...however, your beautiful work here has silently challenged me to drag out the gelli plate, make a mess AGAIN, and see what comes...
