Pat is our hostess this week for the MMTPT532 A Friend In Need challenge. I've made three cards with flowers using her suggested colours, and will add another card for Anita from my stash.
If you know anybody who you would like to be the "destination" for a tea-party (in other words, receive a shower of cards), check out the Request a Tea Party thread in the challenge forum - you'll find it stickied near the top. Celebrations, support, encouragement... we can do them all.
This is the third of the cards I made to send to Anita for her group to use - and I should be able to tuck a card from my stash for Anita herself into the envelope before I mail it tomorrow. I used a background piece from last week's Marker Marbling TLC challenge, and stamped the image on it. Coloured the lettering with pencils, then added Stickles over it. The bee was stamped again on white card and pieced on so that he's a good yellow - and his little flower has red Stickles. I edged the piece with white paint and then popped it onto a honeycomb-embossed yellow base.

What an absolutely charming thank you card this is Sabrina! Your bg really sets a wonderful stage for this gorgeous sparkly sentiment and your star of the show- this super cute bee! Now that we have wink of stella I forget to use my stickles and I forget how much sparkle and shine they add to things so thank you for the inspiration on this! Anita and her friends will adore this card! ~Karen.
