I have been wanting to try a pull-tab switch with Chibitronics, and yesterday I finally had time to try it out, using this candle stamp which I got from Unity. You can find out how to make the pull-tab circuit on the Chibitronics blog. I stamped my image, cut out the candle flames and coloured it with pencils, sponging the background in with distress inks while it was still in the die.. Added vellum behind the flames and coloured it with a yellow Sharpie. Laid out my circuit on the Bazzill layer, then popped up the candle layer on foam tape. I was just going to make a small label-shaped card base but it looked a bit small. So I made a background, DOX Antique Linen smooshed onto white card. Then a Hero Arts script stamp in Sepia, and a music stamp in soft grey, then I stamped the foliage with Forest Moss DOX and markers for the holly sprigs. Added some spatter in gold with Gorgeous Grunge, and more spatter with white acrylic. Edged the whole thing with gold EP and popped my light-up panel onto it. Unlike the push-type switch, this one will stay lit as long as the tab is pulled out. Push the tab back in and the lights go out.

Oh Sabrina this is wonderful! I love the gold edging and your background paper looks like DSP. The dimensional look gives it the appearance of having been embossed with an EF. One of these days I will find a chibitronics kit and try it myself, but for now, I'm enjoying yours in the gallery!
