A friend made a card like this and I loved it so much, I pretty much copied it. I love faux wood anything, especially stuff from mid century. The card is sitting on top of a pillow, believe it or not. It looks so real. This is what inspired me (besides my friend):https://www.orvis.com/p/handcrafted-...ide-table/2thp
I remember my brothers being so excited when the Orvis catalogue would arrive. My brother John loves to fly fish and my sister Janet has taken it up too. Unfortunately my younger brother Bill died two years ago, right before a fishing trip he and John were taking. John misses his fishing buddy very much. Me too.

Love the table that inspired you! as well as you lovely card - the greenery looks wonderful around the woodcut. How nice to have the lovely memories of your brothers going on fishing trips together.

What a tender story behind this lovely card. I would not have guessed it was from your talented hands...not because it isn't fab, but it is so crisp and clean! I knew what was your inspiration before I clicked into Orvis. It is amazing what they can do with photo ready images these days.
