"Hope" was also die cut from two very thick pieces of black card stock to pop it up and create a shadow.
Low light, old mobile phone = dark, ychhy photo. (Green layer isn't acid green.)
Made for a friend who's battled cancer for years successfully but who was just diagnosed with another cancer, found when getting her yearly scans to check on the first one.

Regardless of your very low opinion of the photo, it sure is a pretty card! I really like the little "bonus" star that you achieved so serendipitously (is that a real word?).

Oh!! I am sooo glad I twisted your arm to post this!!! What a fabulous background! Goodness, I could look at this all day! It would be beautiful on a wall. I know this will cheer your friend. I love sending cards with the word HOPE. I am sure that news is devastating for your friend. Hugs.

I love alcohol ink and I love these colors. Blues and greens and blues and purples are some of my faves. Your card is awesome and the word "hope" is just perfect for encouraging your friend. I'm sorry she got a bad report.
