Stef really challenged me this week with the colors. I just couldn't past florals. This stamp set is one of my favorite Stampin' Up floral sets (okay it IS my favorite SU floral set!). The left side image and the lower image are inked with the Mango Melody and then I used a sponge dauber to add some Grapefruit Grove to the outside edges. The flowers in the top image are just the Grapefruit Grove.
To get a bit more of the Shaded Spruce color I stacked three squares of it under each of the floral squares.
For dessert this week - stripes, dots or plaid background - I wanted to keep it CAS, so the background stripes are heat embossed in clear. I still felt it needed a little something so I added few sequins to match the Mango and Grapefruit.
TFL! Please join us this week!

This is as charming and sweet as can be. I have been trying really hard to resist this stamp set, but after seeing this wonderful card, I may no longer be able to resist! I adore your clear-embossed stripes on this oh-so-sweet card! ~Karen.

Jeanne, you did an amazing job with these colors and such a great design with the subtle background stripes and the three small square with the bright florals! Gorgeous CAS design!

I have to say, if I was voting, you would get this week's color challenge crown. I haven't even looked at everyone's yet but I just love this. so graphic, so simple, so cheerful.

How very sweet, indeed! Jeanne, all the little touches are what makes this card so special--the stacked spruce layers, the clear embossed stripes, and the very pretty flowers. Love this!

Oh, Jeanne, what a gorgeous CAS card, and I'm with you about loving this stamp set. It is so versatile, and I love the layout. I just may CASE this one for our card ministry at church that meets on Friday. It would make a lovely card to make a stack (they make 6-8 of each so they can achieve the number of cards for each quarter). Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing your amazing artistry! Hugs! xoxo
